Hailing from a teensy tiny village called Djura (with a population 400 peeps) in Sweden, Karin Park has released three albums ( Superworldunknown  in 2003,  Change Your Mind  in 2006, and  Ashes To Gold  in 2009) and an EP ( Tiger Dreams in 2011) and even won herself a Norwegian Grammy ( what is that you ask? ) for Best Newcomer in 2003, and was out with her latest album Highwire Poetry in May 2012. In the trippy new "Restless" video from Swedish electro-goth princess Karin Park, the talented singer/songwriter channels Grace Jones mixed with Gozer the Gozerian (Ghostbusters reference!).  The video for "Restless" was shot on location in the church that Karin actually lives in!  Released on May 21st, "Restless" is the eagerly anticipated new single taken from Karin's latest album,

Everything is shot in my house and garden in Sweden and the scenes from the road is where I walk every day. I was heavily involved in most parts of the video but we were a lot of people who worked hard together. Swedish electro she-popper Karin Park gives us the debut visuals for her latest single 'Restless.' The clip was shot on location in Sweden and was directed by Olle Lundin. Her new project ' Highwire Poetry ' will see daylight on May 28th.

Scandi electro svengali Karin Park has unveiled the video to her new single, 'Restless'. The track in question appears on the singer's forthcoming album Highwire Poetry - the follow-up to critically-acclaimed Tiger Dreams EP, which dropped at the end of last year. Park's new album is set for release on 28 May, while the single itself comes out tomorrow (21 May). You can stream the video below:
