Video: Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros "KISSES OVER BABYLON"

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros' album "Up From Below" is getting the epic treatment cinematically. The songs are being used as the backdrop for a 12-part music video series titled "Salvo!" and directed by Matt Amato . The storyline seems very "Mad Max" (in a Magnetic Zeros kind of way, of course) but the cinematography and music are enough to keep you riveted. The second installment of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros 12 part music series called SALVO! came out recently. So far they are incredible, and I am loving the added visuals to my favorite album of 2009, Up From Below.

I spent the majority of the Thankgiving holiday weekend back in Madison. It was hard to pass up the amazing triple bill featuring Local Natives , Fool's Gold , and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros . Our Milwaukee friends will recall the Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros show at Club Garibaldi in Milwaukee, which already cracked my list of favorite shows from 2009 .
