New music video from Brooklyn based Midnight Magic , a nine-piece disco show that features former Hercules & Love Affair alumni Carter Yatusake, Morgan Wiley and W. Andrew Raposo with the vocal talent of front woman Tiffany Roth. They sent us over a video to their latest track, "Beam Me Up," which will please any nu-disco enthusiast, but the one thing that separates this band from the others is Ms. Roth, the soulfulness and passion she has in her voice really takes the music to a new level.
I don't have too much to tell you about this one except the song and video just struck me as a serious smiler for a Wednesday morning. Here's what I can tell you without hesitation. Midnight Magic , which I can only assume is the nocturnal reprise of the "afternoon delight," is a Brooklyn-based, nine-piece ribbed-for-your-enjoyment boogie machine.
