La ceremonia de entrega del Polaris Music Prize , que premia a los mejores álbumes editados en Canadá (nunca está de más nombrar, aunque harte, que es el equivalente canadiense del Mercury Prize), se llevó a cabo el día 20 de septiembre en algún lugar supersecreto de Toronto, de tal manera que la información fluctuó tan poco que los detalles del evento (que fue televisado en el país) pasó casi desapercibido para los grandes medios. ¿O será también, quizás, por que el jurado se decidió por hacer ganador a alguien que no estaba en boca de todos?
