Thundercrack : Best Of Irish #2 - Dark Room Notes

One of the big current hopes of the Irish music scene are Dark Room Notes. Possibly best described as electro-rock, they've got a great sound that stands out from many other Irish bands around at the moment. Check out their site where you can pick up a couple of ep's. Again being away from Ireland I've missed seeing them live but they're getting some great reviews so hopefully when I'm back they'll be playing somewhere. For now, check out the video, visit their MySpace and buy their ep from their official site

I'm off to Berlin tomorrow, and if I had been there a few weeks ago, I might have seen DRN drummer Camera dancing about the place, as in the band's stylish new video. Unlike him, however, I'll be seeing Arcade Fire tomorrow night, barring a repeat of March's tragedy, or a plane crash or something. Anyway, this is just one of the fine songs on DRN's Dead Start Program EP, which you can still stream here . Or even buy, if you're feeling generous.
