No Age are set to release a new 4 song EP in October on Sub Pop . This will be the band's first offering since 2008's highly acclaimed Nouns LP. There's actually a pretty strange story behind this video as well. According to the No Age Blog , lead guitarist Randy Randall was set to play "Eraser" on the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson wearing a Barack Obama t-shirt, when a CBS exec told him he would have to remove the t-shirt because of something called the "Fairness Law," which says TV networks are supposed to give presidential candidates equal amounts of on-air exposure. Solution: Randy turned the shirt inside out, scrawled "Free Healthcare" on the front in permanent marker, and put the shirt back on to perform. [...]

Everyone had been saying (cough* blogging) that we should all be on the look out for No Age's controversial performance on Late Late Night With Craig Ferguson on Oct. 27th. But then It ran last night, so now what do we look forward to? Thanks to the tip off from Brandon , we were made aware of the performance and subsequent t-shirt squabble which saw TV execs force No Age's Randy Randall to remove his Barack Obama t-shirt, citing antiquated FCC regulations. Reluctantly, he obliged, replacing it with a hand-made "Free Health Care" t-shirt. [...]
