Apparently the Dawson Bros (UK comedy writers) were commissioned by Groove Armada to do a 30 second advert for them and they got a little carried away. Ended up doing this whole dance off skit/video for their track "History" instead. Seeing this video made me realize how amazing this track is. Truly classic sounding jam. Comedy writers and film-makers the Dawson Bros were hired to make a 30 second Black Light trailer featuring "History", which comes out as a single on Monday. They kind of ran away with the brief and made a ... crazy street dance film thing.

I was surprised to find myself liking "History," the forthcoming single from Groove Armada's Black Light so much - not because it's Groove Armada (who are awesome veterans of electronic music), but because they collaborated with a former Pop Idol winner to make it (and I confess my propensity to side-eye anyone who is part of the Idols franchise).
