I recently picked up "Things The Grandchildren Should Know" by Mark Oliver Everett, aka E of the alt-rock band The Eels. E had a pretty interesting life - his dad, for instance, was Hugh Everett III who was a physicist who proposed the Many-Worlds interpretation of quantum physics .
