Jason Segel from Forgetting Sarah Marshall and How I Met Your Mother (where he's interestingly enough, called... Marshall) joined Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova for a special performance last week. Both brilliant and funny, this is definitely worth watching.

Last week, my wife and I finally watched the movie Once ... a wonderful, musical movie featuring Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. We are also huge fans of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother starring Jason Segel as Marshall. That's why I was so excited when I found the video clip of Jason Segal joining Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova on stage earlier this week. I know this video has made the rounds already... but it's too much fun not to share again.

When The Swell Season played LA's Wiltern Theater Wednesday night, Apatow acolyte and our favorite lug Jason Segel, took over the piano bench for a song he penned himself. After watching a few dozen times, we'd be down for a "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" sequel right now—much more so than that Russell Brand-Jonah Hill spin-off currently in production anyway. Way better vampire jams than those flying into theaters today, no doubt.

The Swell Season provided fans with an extra special performance last night in Los Angeles, Calif. when funny man Jason Segel joined the musicians on stage. Segel, who played piano, performed an original song accompanied by the Swell Season. When Segel asked Marketa Irglova how to write a meaningful song, she told him to "write from the heart and include as much personal information as possible." Segel took this advice to heart and literally provided as much personal information as possible.

Jason Segel of Forgetting Sarah Marshall / I Love You, Man / Freaks and Geeks fame came out last night during The Swell Season's performance in LA to play a catchy ballad about how he'd like to sleep with one of their fans. The lyrics include his "number," a boast about dick size, and jokes galore. Very funny and apparently it was written right before the show with the help of Glen Hansard and Paul Rudd.
