Tomorrow begins another Pitchfork Music Festival at Chicago's Union Park. From Saturday's LCD Soundsystem disco-punk dance party to Sunday night's Pavement reunion, this one should be pretty freakin' amazing. But of course, you know all about those guys, and there's so much more music to be seen before 8:30 p.m. So, we decided to focus on our favorite mid-tier acts and, perhaps through out clever turns of phrase, guide you in their direction as well. This is your Loud Loop Press Pitchfork Fest 2010 Preview. [...]

2009 is shaping up to be a swell year for the entertainment industry. From Mike Tyson and Zach Galifianakis to Pauly Shore and Forest Whitaker, here are a few films that we're excited to see along with some new music videos from Department of Eagles, Panda Bear and a new live video of Grizzly Bear's "Two Weeks" featuring Victoria Legrand of Beach House . GZA feat. The Black Lips - Shimmy Shimmy Ya [...]
Surgui recentemente na internet o video Take Pills, do disco Person Pitch de Panda Bear. Passados quase dois anos da edição de Person Pitch, surge então o video. O filme foi realizado por Brian DeGraw, dos Gang Gang Dance.
Panda Bear has a new music video for "Take Pills" from his 2007 album Person Pitch. Also, a brief ode to Noah Lennox aka Panda Bear.

A video for Panda Bear's 'Take Pills' has recently appeared on the internet, I mean it has been two years since he released the critically acclaimed "Person Pitch". The video was directed by Brian DeGraw of Gang Gang Dance who adds an intro for the song with a robotic voice being spoken by a woman in an MF DOOM-like mask. It's a very psychadelic, trippy video. You can watch the video below. Panda Bear - Comfy in Nautica [zshare]
Video: Panda Bear - "Take Pills" Two years (to the week!) after the release of Person Pitch, Paw Tracks releases a trippy new video for "Take Pills." Who knew pandas had such long tails? Directed by Brian DeGraw. Panda Bear:...

Two albums from artists I just saw at SXSW : DM Stith David Michael Stith was discovered by Shara Worden ( My Brightest Diamond ) and signed to Asthmatic Kitty, and he fits right into what you would expect from an artist on this label. It is lovely music utilizing modern pop sensibilities with a more classical ethos, and a slight touch of psychedelia. While I enjoy listening to modern singer/songwriters like M Ward and Andrew Bird , [...]

Pues la cuestión aquí seria no perder vigencia, ya que la canción "Take Pills" que estrena vídeo en realidad es de hace mucho y no representa novedad alguna, aunque observar una vez mas algún experimento visual de Panda Bear nunca esta de mas. Panda Bear - Take Pills (Vídeo):

Los moralistas y los psiquiatras de la década de los sesenta anduvieron por entonces muy preocupados con los posibles efectos secundarios del LSD y sus derivados. Llegaron a formular que si el sujeto había ingerido más de tres dosis en su vida clínicamente se le podía considerar un tarado....
This is a strange one since the album " Person Pitch " was released in 2007, but hey heres a new video for panda bear directed by Brian Degraw (from gang gang dance )
Why or how this unseen video for the track 'Take Pills' off of Panda Bears two year old 2007 studio length LP 'Person Pitch' has only come to light now is beyond us, but all we know is that we like it.

It's unclear why there's a video for Person Pitch 's "Take Pills" popping up now, but since it is Panda Bear, and it was directed by Gang Gang Dance multi-tasker Brian DeGraw, reasons don't matter so much. Also, DeGraw updates the track itself with some backward-sounding Pitch -shifts, which are vocalized by a woman in mirrored GGD-style mask. This is before we move into a color-barred panda and a live, kaleidoscopic Panda inter-cut with more weighted, specific, and seemingly random imagery than you can swallow in one sitting. If you've seen Retina Riddim [...]
I'm not even going to try to explain this new Panda Bear video for "Take Pills." It's a total drug trip with flashes of light in almost every frame.

What do you get when you combine Panda Bear's psychedelic brand of avant-pop with the equally psychedelic visuals of part time experimental filmmaker and full time Gang Gang Dancer Brian DeGraw? Besides a kick ass filmclip for "Person Pitch" standout "Take Pills" we're treated to a full audio-visual simulation of the most luscious acid trip ever invented. Like whoa dude, where's my brain? It's impossible to fault this video for being absolutely bizarre, because no one can pretend that a simple video that showed say, a bunch of attractive twenty-somethings popping amphetamines, would've been remotely appropriate for Panda Bear's tripped-out, joyous Person Pitch offering, "Take Pills." So, you need an absurdist, surreal video clip that accurately visualizes the compelling, aesthetic wreck of a Panda Bear song? Gang Gang Dance's Brian DeGraw to the rescue with a clip composed of static, indeterminate footage, funky kaleidoscope imagery, shots of Noah Lennox, and of course, pills. [...]
