Look, we do like the new Wilco record, and lord knows we're huge fans of Tweedy and Co., but last night's performance on Conan just felt....empty. Wilco brought "You Never Know" off their new album Wilco (the Album) to Conan O'Brien's show yesterday. It's not my favorite off the new record, but it sounded fantastic. And maybe it's Tweedy or maybe it's the Nudie Suits, but this live version made me focus on the words more than normal. Good tune.
