Arctic Monkeys - Come Together (Beatles Cover) Die Arctic Monkeys hatten die Ehre, an der Eröffnungszeremonie der Olympischen Sommerspiele in London aufzutreten. Anlässlich ihres Auftrittes coverten sie auch "Come Together" von den Beatles. Den Track gibt es leider nur im englischen iTunes-Store. You can always count on The Black Lips for a rowdy time. Their latest visuals for "Noc-A-Homa," which appeared on last year's Arabia Mountain , features Chief Noc-A-Homa, the original mascot of the Milwaukee and Alabama Braves who supposedly lived in a teepee in a section of the bleachers at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Random source of inspiration? Perhaps. But just look at how much fun the band has when playing some ball with the Chief. Watch the video for "Noc-A-Homa" below.
Arabia Mountain, the latest album from Black Lips is out now and today we can enjoy the video for new single, "Noc-A-Homa". It follows the downfall of the once celebrated mascot of the Atlanta Braves as he slums it on the streets and turns to crime in order to get by. Turns out he can still slug a ball like a champ though. Enjoy it at the top.

Been a little since I posted some awesome garage/psych rock from Atlanta's the Black Lips , but the eccentric group released a new video for the song "Noc-A-Homa." While I'm glad to be able to revisit some of their music, I got to say I'm not quite sure what is going on in the video. You'll get a homeless Native American who joins up with the band, then plays softball and gets some magical power from garbage. Yeah, guess that about sums it up. The video for Atlanta garage warriors Black Lips' psych-rock gutter-gargle "Noc-A-Homa" doesn't exactly make a whole lot of straightforward sense, but it's something about a homeless native American band who joins forces with the band, playing a softball team full of assholes, after he gains some kind of magical strength through garbage.
