Video: DAILY LIFE - 'King Of Sports'

Gonna break up my synth theme this week with some straight up guitar rock by 2 bands from Manchester, Sex Hands and Daily Life. Sex Hands is in actual fact 3/4 Welsh and only 1/4 Mancunian. Daily Life on the other hand,  decided to go on a temporary hiatus by the time this release came out because one of em decided to move to New Zealand. Sex Hands comprise of members from Klaus Kinski, Irma Vep, and Waiters and they sound like a mob up to no good, essentially, loud fuzzed-up garage rock, shouty vocals, everything in lo-fi, almost veering [...]

Manchester's Daily Life , who you might remember from before , are one of my 'keep an eye on' type of bands. I forsee some good things coming to them in 2012, if they keep pumping out the goods as they are. The above video for King of Sports is one of those songs that grabs you with its immediacy, but upon multiple listens only gains strength.
