Sofia Coppola made 'one great indie movie' back before every1 realized that Garden State, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Lost in Translation all actually 'set back the art of filmmaking' at least 20-50 years. She made Lost In Translation, a semi-autobiographical film where she 'gets railed' by an old guy (Bill Murray). Not sure that the movie actually 'said anything' but it was 'deep' and it was 'set in Japan' and Bill Murray 'acted deep and disconnected', so it was a 'critical success.' Al parecer, la historia de esta película gira entorno al hotel Chateau Marmont ubicado en Los Ángeles. Stephen Dorff y Ellen Fanning son los protagonistas y la música ha sido compuesta por Phoenix , aunque en este trailer más bien destaca un cover de "You Only Live Once" (The Strokes) interpretado por Julian Casablancas .

Thanks to our friend Tasso for bringing this one to our attention. Today, the first trailer to Sofia Coppola's new film Somewhere just came out. The film is set to be released at the end of the year and expected to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival. Stephen Dorff is the main role on this one (yeap...the b-actor from Blade...perhaps a new revival?) and the scenario is back to the basics (Lost in Translation) for Coppola.
