The hard-edged underground Bushwick band Lady Magma wowed us last summer when they headlined our very first showcase. Just check out their performance of "Bangkok" below" for evidence. Now the five-piece band have just released their first album, produced by Wharton Tiers who has worked with Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., and Laurie Anderson. Wow. The album perfectly captures everything that is great about Lady Magma.
