Video: Com Truise - Terminal

New music video by electronic/chillwave great and Princeton, N.J. native Com Truise for "Terminal," a track from his 2011 debut EP, Galactic Melt . The video does an amazing job of incorporating an 802s style DOS computer command line interface into everything. I vaguely remember using that, way back when. Anyway, check out the latest below:

In his new video for Galactic Melt album opener "Terminal," Com Truise shows off his skills as a coder, with the video starting with an aptly used Windows command prompt terminal. Check out the Mykola Dosenko-directed clip above. Galactic Melt is out now via Ghostly International.

Electro artist Com Truise's latest effort, 'Terminal', is a delirious retro gem of a track, with bleeps and synth abound. However, its video is more than an accompaniment - it's a triumph. Featuring binary, ear-wateringly bright colours, and some kickass graphics, 'Terminal' is 80s throwback heaven.

Com Truise is on some early 19802s, Atari 2600 console, TRON the movie soundtrack type shit. This video for "Terminal" is filled with binary code, blocky images and random points of punctuation. It's a far cry from what we expect to see in modern music videos, but turn the clock back three decades or so and this would be par for the course. It's a perfect fit for Truise's ultra-retro sound. Throwback Saturday kids, get with the program.

En serio, "Galactic Melt" es uno de los albums mas infravalorados de 2011 y si aun no se habian dejado querer por los sintetizadores espaciales y los visuales de maquinita ochenteros de Com Truise , entonces cuando terminen de ver este video perteneciente a "Terminal", estoy casi seguro que querran entrarle de lleno a cada uno de los tracks que compone "Galactic Melt" ya que aunque solo dura dos minutos, definitivamente los visuales hechos por Mykola Dosenko provocaran algo bastante serio dentro de sus mentes (mas si sufren de epilepsia) y despertara la nostalgia del uso de DOS asi [...]
