Having previous collaborated with Beirut for the video to ‘Santa Fe’, Sunset Television have directed the highly stylised visuals for fellow The Rip Tide featured number ‘Vagabond.’ Shot in black and white and set in the Warsaw dancehall at Greenpoint, the video, according to the directors, tells the tale “of a group of soldiers and sailors flirting with nurses and hard-living local girls at a dance" but the truth is a little more bizarre.

Video: Beirut - "Vagabond" Beirut has released a new video for "Vagabond" from their recent album The Rip Tide . Directed by Sunset Television, the video tells the story of group of soldiers and sailors flirting with nurses and hard-living local girls at a dance. It was shot at the beautiful Warsaw dancehall in Greenpoint and inspired by the look of Milos Forman movies from the 60's. Beirut - Vagabond Un buen método para saber si alguien es o no de fiar es utilizar una canción de Beirut, en plan random , y preguntarle si le gusta. Si la respuesta es no, ahí lo tienes, esa persona no es trigo limpio, así de fácil. Te recomendaría que lo borrases de tu agenda de contactos y lo condenases a la marginación más absoluta o ya puestos, que directamente lo montases en su nave espacial y lo mandases de vuelta a su planeta. Shot in black and white and with the added bonus of chicken chasing and eyeball magic tricks, the video for “Vagabond” is, well, perfectly Beirut .
