Who is  Rhye ? That is a good question………… Not much is known about this mysterious Los Angeles based electro-pop duo. The band has left no trails, tracks, or prints. Not a smidge. Both their Facebook and Tumblr pages have kept their identities completely concealed. We posted "Open," the audio lovenote from Los Angeles duo Rhye a couple weeks ago, and they've now released a video for the intimate track featuring lots of people having sex. Would warn of its NSFW content, but it's Saturday, so just watch the damn video. Having said that, the top comment on YouTube is "I don't know if I should masturbate or cry. Hmmm, ok then. Mysterious, simple, enchanting, affectionate, tender.  Heart-melting vocals and a pure icy delicacy throughout coupled with a genuine sense of longing and all wrapped up with subtle restraint that The National would be proud of. Pretty fucking good then, to say the least. Rhye are a duo from LA, who may have European backgrounds and may have previously made music elsewhere. This is all we're being told right now. Rhye is a new rising duo out of Los Angeles, who make their RH debut with "Open".  The intimate clip premiered via The Fader, and is definitely something worth checking out.  The music is mellow and lowkey, a nice break from raping ass rappers.  Check it out below.
