Video for third single from Come Around Sundown has a strong Nashville vibe and features, among other things, a firework display. Yup, they went there. Directed by Casey McGrath near their hometown, the clip is fitting for the most tender song in the Kings' now very large cannon. It follows a number of rather bored small towners that - in typical fashion - get bored, jump in a truck and go see their favourite band play in the woods. I did it just the other week. Just in case anyone forgot where the Kings of Leon are from, they are offering a refresher course with their latest video for "Back Down South", released yesterday. The video is an ode to some of the more cliche aspects of growing up Southern, but I'll be damned if it's not a little bit appealing. The song itself is my favorite off the new album, and has been in steady rotation since I first heard the track played at Bonnaroo last year .
