Not that the guys in British alt. pop group Field Music should listen to me, but here's an idea for a Field Music video that's sure to make the kids say "that's beast!" On Jan. 12, 2010, the group released the single, "Let's Write a Book," from the upcoming double-album, "Field Music (Measure)." For me, the track evokes images of Prince writhing in funky purple accompanied by a leather-clad Terminator bodyguard (1984 vintage), while David "Burning Down the House" Byrne jumps up and down on stage. A great band - have you heard Tones of town yet? You really should. Here's the Field Music site. They're on an extended break right now. "In context" : [...]

Field Music are a band from England, consisting of brothers Peter and Dave Brewis (who used to play drums with The Futureheads), with Andrew Moore. Maxïmo Park and The Futureheads members sometimes contribute. The song I've chosen "In Context" is pretty catchy. Check it out HERE along with a few other offerings. Enjoy.
Podría compararse a la técnica que describió Paul Klee como " sacar a pasear una línea ", pero en realidad es el vídeo del grupo británico Field Music de su canción In Context . pub-3030416334395953

Might've been a good time to roll the dice, though, as the Grammys were a non-event it seems. Folks have already moved on today, and what better way then profile some new releases. This week sees the US release of both Field Music's Tones of Town , and Charlotte Gainsbourg's 5:55 along with new albums from Lucinda Williams , [...]

I haven't heard too many songs by Field Music , but what I have heard sounds like some good indie pop/rock music. But what really caught my attention was the video these guys have out. It's very simple, someone draws a very detailed picture on a wall with just one Sharpee without ever raising the pen. I would love to have this on my apartment wall.
I got sent this new single from Field Music a few weeks back. I gave it a listen and thought "yeah, pretty nice" and thought no more about it, however it's since creapt back into my CD player and i'm getting slightly hooked. Although intrinsically linked to local peers Maximo Park On', except that it ends far too soon for my liking. I'd have much preferred it's two and a half minutes to be
