A tip o' the hat to all involved for allowing the video to run the full length of the song (five minutes and forty eight seconds, to be exact). Much like the song itself, the video for "Narcotic Sea" (directed by Dante Della Maggiore) is all over the place. Yeasayer made the long commute from Brooklyn to 30 Rock on Friday night, coming armed with background singers, new agey mysticism, and let's face it, lots of swagger. "2080"'s the tune they deemed fit for their live national television debut, definitely the right choice in Conan's eyes; at the show's open his introduction betrayed not having a clue who they were, but by the end -- well you read the post headline. They bring a little prop-flair to the stage, but we wouldn't expect any less from set directors . Such a great song, so very Police circa '82. [...]
