Video: Radiohead [NEW LEAKED SONG] These are My Twisted Words

The new Radiohead song. I'm sure you've heard it by now but what do you think. Personally, and bear in mind Radiohead are my favourite band of all-time, I'm slightly underwhelmed. It's good and that but I expect more from the best band of the '90s and '00s. Still, I'm sure the forthcoming album (or EP as it's rumoured) will be typically amazing. Yorke is a genius.

Last we checked in with Radiohead, frontman Thom Yorke said the band has sworn off making full-length LPs and instead was just going to release songs and EPs whenever they felt. Well, apparantly, whenever they felt like it has meant two new songs in the past two weeks. After the band released a song in tribute of the late-World War I veteran Harry Patch about a week or so ago, "These Are My Twisted Words" hit the Internet late last night after it was posted to a torrent site. The internet is a confusing place. This song clip, seeming to be a new Radiohead track, appeared unexplicably this morning on the band's fan site At Ease . Although "These Are My Twisted Words" sounds very Yorke-ian (Ed: yikes) , the band has yet to officially confirm that the song is one of theirs. Since they're done with recording and releasing albums , perhaps this is their new, sneaky preferred method of delivering music to the masses. (via p4k )

Blogs all over are reposting this new Radiohead song with a release date of August 17th, 2009 on a one track advance CD. It's called "These Are My Twisted Words".

So the internet is all abuzz this morning from a potential Radiohead song leak on Radiohead fan site, At Ease. And for good reason. This song is sick - feels like a natural progression from In Rainbows....taking the beauty and technical perfection of its tracks and tweaking with the sound, adding imperfections and dissonance through its drones and slightly off-beat guitar notes. Only last week we had 'Harry Patch (In Memory of)' a tribute to the 111-year old First World War veteran and yesterday another random new tune has seemingly appeared. Entitled 'These Are My Twisted Words' it appeared on fan site AtEase without any explanation or confirmation. Is this from the film Twilight that the band are purporting to be contributing to? I just got a tweet from my subscriber Robby322 that had an exclamation point which means I had to read it and I'm glad I did. Up top is apparently a leaked song from Radiohead called "These Are My Twisted Words". Now while I've not seen nor received any confirmation if this song is indeed by RH it definitely sounds like them.
