Très original comme nom : 2:54 (Two fifty four). Très accrocheur aussi pour les produits dérivés. 2:54, ce sont deux sœurs, Hannah et Colette Thurlow. Irlandaises de naissance, elles ont grandi à Bristol avec de fréquents retours estivaux sur les côtes irlandaises forgeant ainsi leur musique à ces images côtières. My new favorite obsession of the year. They're 2:54 and I think I'm going to go and see them in Leeds tonight. What is it about them that enthralls me so? Very cool video from 2:54 - covered with a thick haze with waving flags and the band performing, it's great.

Taking the mood from their previous video, Scarlet and dosing it in a thick layer of fog and theatrics, director Jeppe Kolstrup has created a swirling mess that is a perfect backing to the song's tumbling urgency. May 28th will see the band release their full length debut on Fat Possum Records. The 10 song album was recorded mostly by Mercury-winning producer Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey) and mixed by the Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine In Nails). London's 2:54 have begun the all out assault on the states for their upcoming self-titled debut. The buzzworthy band just came off their much talked about SXSW appearance and now are releasing a new video for the single, You're Early . The mysterious and hypnotizing clip was directed by Danish director Jeppe Kolstrup.
