GRIMES is a Canadian artist that can best be described as a hybrid of Bjork and Mariah Carey. At the age of 25 she already has three albums to her name. Her latest album 'Visions' boasts the omnipresent single ‘Oblivion’ and is regarded as one of the top releases in 2012. If you like what you hear then definitely pick up a copy, as a vast majority of her set at Coachella will surely be picked from this album. Since the release of Visions Grimes has been just about everywhere and had a barrage of good press following her. Rightly so, and today we can continue to keep her beats and vox on our minds as she's visited KEXP to lay down a session in which we get to see some of her live energy, albeit a little reserved as she rotates between instruments and pedals.
