Greek director Romain Gavras is one the most sought after film-makers in the business after a string of outstanding music videos - including the famous MIA one that was previously banned by YouTube. Kanye West and Jay Z have released their latest video from Watch The Throne. No Church in the Wild is the opening track from the album and features a chorus from one of our favourites, Frank Ocean. The protest-themed video is notably void of appearances by Kanye West, Jay Z, Frank Ocean or a pair of The Air Yeezy IIs which will be released on June 9th.

At a time when riots are an uncomfortably normal thing to see and hear about in the news (or even be part of), the video for Jay-Z & Kanye West's Watch The Throne track "No Church in The Wild" seems strangely natural. While I have no reservations about there being a generous budget behind the video's creation, I can't but watch it and feel like this is all real footage, and that the youth of Prague have gone ape-shit for some reason. Watch them take on riot police amidst a serene setting below:

Jay-Z and Kanye West  have released the cinematic video for “No Church In The Wild”. Taking the theme of no religion, the people on the streets of Czech Republic are pissed and anarchy is the only option. Directed by Romain Garvais, this feels more like a 5 minute Christopher Nolan extravaganza rather than a standard music video. Although, we should expect nothing less from these two heavyweights. Only Jay-Z and Kanye West could enhance a video full of rioting, store window breaking, and church rushing with a surprise appearance by an elephant.  Check out their new video for "No Church In The Wild" , the standout track off Watch The Throne that features Frank Ocean and The Dream with co-production by 88 Keys .

If you were in the UK last Summer, it's hard to forget the riots that took place. Predominantly in Manchester and London but a lot of the country was affected by the actions of a minority of kids lashing out. I think that event may have played a little role in the inspiration for Jay-Z and Kanye's new visual for "No Church In The Wild".
