So remember Beavis & Butthead ? Of course you do. One of the most memorable moments from the MTV show was during a Wax video when Beavis goes sort of crazy due to his obsession with fire. The start of Patrick Watson's new video has that same aesthetic. For the first minute, it's basically just a guy on fire running around. It gets a little more boring after that, probably with some sort of artistic intent. Check it out after the jump.

We received Patrick Watson's newest effort, Wooden Arms awhile back, but only recently plunged its depths. What originally caught our attention was not only the fact that Watson has toured with Elvis Perkins, The Cold War Kids and Feist, but that he used bicycle parts as a percussive backing.* The video above for "Fireweed" is a beautifully artistic, depicting a man on fire traveling across what looks like the New Zealand country side or maybe something from Cormac McCarthy's The Road .
