As a concert fan who not only loves going to show, but also loves experiencing concerts through the eyes of fellow fans via mobile phones and hand-held cameras, I've had a lot of fun watching and learning about the new Radiohead Live in Praha DVD made by fans during the band's August 29, 2009 concert in Prague at the V�staviat Holeaovice Exhibition Hall. The most important band in the world Radiohead played at the Výstavišt? Holešovice Exhibition Hall in Prague, and allowed fans to turn it into a "by the fans for the fans" concert film. About fifty fans collaborated and shot the performance from all angles using their Flip camera, and the footage was put together with audio masters provided to them by the band. If there wasn't already enough proof that Radiohead fans are the most dedicated on the planet, this new DVD puts the case to rest. Last August the band did a small tour to put the final cap on the In Rainbows era, which included the Reading and Leeds festivals but more importantly in this case a date at Výstaviště, Bruselská Cesta in Prague in the Czech Republic. In 2009 Radiohead did a show in Prague. The show was filmed by a group of fans at different spots in the giant crowd who set out with the mission to capture Radiohead using as many angles as possible. Radiohead have once again found a way to give us more free goodies. First they gave us a free album, now they have given us a free DVD. Back on August 23rd, 2009 at a show in Prague, 50 fans filmed the concert from 50 different positions in the crowd. This was all professionally edited with professional show audio from the band, and the result is the entire concert shot by fans. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
