Bjork 's gimmick is about as tired as it gets. She used to be a cute foreigner screaming into a microphone over minimal, whimsical noises. Now she is the same thing with a few more bleeps and bloops. We get it, Bjork . U have a strong voice. Ur artsy. Now we realize that people from Iceland are just 'bat shit insane', not actually 'legitimate artists.' Bjork appeared on British TV last night to perform a live rendition of "Crystalline." While post-"Biophilia" B is whey too smart for us, BitCandy still want to fumble around her almighty ginger afro.

Björk stopped by Later With Jools Holland the other night to perform "Crystalline" off of her latest album, Biophilia . Really, all I can say is good for her for still being alive. Can you imagine how weird her day-to-day life must be? Björk continúa con su poco ortodoxa campaña de promoción para el disco Biophilia, pero ahora tuvo que ceder un poco y aparecer en TV, y el programa escogido fue el Later With Jools Holland, del cual te presentamos su interpretación del single “Crystalline” con un coro no tan angelical acompañándola y un peinado que ya vimos que no la favorece mucho que digamos (busquen una foto de Phil Spector, donde seguro involuntariamente se inspiró). Fue una noche importante la del martes en el programa de Jools Holland .  Björk ,  Red Hot Chilly Peppers ,  Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds   y  Gillian Welch  y David Rawlings compartieron escenario el martes por la noche en el programa inglés  Later...with Jools Holland . I missed this last night on the Tee Vee. Björk and her choir perform 'Crystalline'. Worth it for the drum and bass freakout alone. As with recent Björk albums, I'm finding Biophilia difficult to love. I think I need another four or five listens at least....

Last night marked the end of the current series of Later... with Jools Holland but don't get too down in the dumps just yet for Mr. Holland brought along a barrage of talent for us to enjoy. First up let's take a look at Björk who brought along a self playing organ of sorts and a children's choir, all of whom danced like champs once the d'n'b section of "Crystalline" got into full swing. Björk hasn't exactly been giving the full-court promotional press to her new album Biophilia . But she did recently make an increasingly rare TV visit, showing up with her giant bank of weird instruments and her awkwardly rocking-out choir on the newest episode of Later With Jools Holland . In the video below, she sings the single " Crystalline " and gives a nice glimpse of her current live show, and it's fun to watch an actual human being pound out that Aphex Twin-style drum breakdown on electronic drum pads. Jools Holland had a pretty stacked lineup of guests on his most recent show featuring Björk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. There can't have been much space, especially since Björk brought a whole choir with her and expanded her hair out to five times the reasonable size for any human being. She made up for it by having pianos that played themselves though, no use wasting space on auxiliary musicians when they can do that... Check out the performances from these four acts below.
