Video: The Alchemist "Lose Your Life" official video

Featuring Snoop Dogg , Jadakiss and Pusha T (of Clipse ), this track from The Alchemist (off of the most recent The Cookbook EP) instantly made us think of that whole era in the 90s when Russell Simmons decided that the next great subgenre of hip hop would be what he called "horrorcore" (cf. Gravediggaz, The Flatlinerz, et al.).  The video for the song does exactly what we hoped it would do.  Creating a healthy marriage of cartoon gore and eery visuals, we kept thinking we were watching a pilot [...]
