In 2002 Ken's Bar on Butler Street was torn down ending five years of one of the most popular bluegrass nights in town. Starting in May of 1996 Madison's Cork 'n Bottle String Band made the bar their practice space from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. every Wednesday. The community that formed around that weekly event became a Madison tradition and as a result a documentary of the experience was born.
