There's something unseemly and disturbing about this old Late Show clip, and not just how unfunny Letterman's jokes are. I have no problem with Demi Moore playing a stripper, but she was getting a then record $12.5 million to appear in Striptease, and someone waving around her boob job instead of a person like Meryl Streep being rewarded as Hollywood's top actress had a really disturbing subtext.
