Richmond's Diamond Center is one of the more interesting outfits I've come across lately, which is kinda saying something given the muck I've been travailing. The good folks over at Paper Garden Records turned us on to nomadic, psych folk band The Diamond Center. Comprised of partners in music, Kyle Harris and Brandi Price, their sound reminds us of a more modern, less goth, more psych version of '80s favs, Cranes. Minimalistic reverb soaked guitar lines, and elegantly haunting vocals sent shivers up our collective spines on the first listen. Check out the video for the track Caraway, and if your going to be in Austin for SXSW, do everything you can to see them live.
