2011 was an interesting year for music. Great sounds were thankfully everywhere- but songs, as opposed to albums, became suddenly more memorable. While there is no doubt that 2011 was an exciting time for full-length releases, more and more artists seemed to be embracing the idea of the single and crafting an album around it.
