I'm Not Gonna Cry - Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings 04.18.2008 - Later with Jools Holland Tell it to me, Baby Girl! Sharon Jones is the real deal and her band, The Dap Kings, are super tight. I got turned on heavy to The Dap Kings on their dates that they played with Widespread Panic. I really appreciate that there are a few big voices out there keeping this "sound" alive. Good Stuff! Every once in a while, I just need to hear a black lady sing. You guys ever get that feeling?
