Although her 'Video Games' track is still doing brisk business on radio stations across the board, Lana Del Ray has announced a follow up in the form of 'Born 2 Die'. As the following clip shows, it's another mid-tempo number but sounds slightly more up to date than previous material. Del Ray's debut album follows in the New Year.

On Monday we were treated to a performance recorded at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester featuring the internet sensation formerly known as Lizzie Grant, Lana Del Rey . Over the weekend when performing in Paris the starlet played her upcoming single "Born 2 Die". Hat tip to Dutch blog Lastig Hip and P4K for the heads up on this one. Lana Del Rey is touring Europe and the new songs are predictably starting to appear. Lastig Hip (via Pitchfork ) points to what is expected to be Del Rey's next single performed last night in Paris. The track is called "Born To Die" (maybe she is a Titus Andronicus fan?) and she drops the f-bomb. And, yeah, haters gonna hate, but this one sounds pretty good from where I'm typing. Enjoy.

As previously reported, Lana Del Rey will follow up her smash hits "Video Games" and "Blue Jeans" with a new single titled "Born 2 Die". While a release date for the single remains forthcoming, Pitchfork points out that Lana Del Rey debuted the track during a concert in Paris last night. Check out video footage below and, um, pay particular attention to the 1:24 and 3:07 portions of the clip - you might just be hearing the most insane lyric of the year.
