Kwes. is a London based electronic pop singer/ producer his EP Meantime is set to drop May 1. Until then he has released this new track from the EP that should definitely peak your interest if you're into this kind of music. The track features a lot of soft percussion covered in warm humming synthesizers. The most defining feature of the production is definitely the bass with its distorted rumble throughout the track it really ties all of the other aspects together. Kwes is quickly rising into pop stardom, and since Pitchfork did a piece on him, its hard not to see his music appearing on many sites. His style of pop music is more intricate and even lengthy, which we can see and hear on his newest released track "lgoyh." This is the last song on his Meantime EP out May 1st. A few weeks ago London-based producer Kwes announced the release of a new EP on Warp Records entitled Meantime . Along with that announcement we got the awesome track "Bashful." The EP isn't out until May 1st but Kwes is now giving us a second song from Meantime , this one entitled "Igoyh." Without question, one of our favourite EPs of the year is Meantime by Kwes , and 'lgoyh' is probably the best track on it. With that said, it doesn't take a genius to figure out how we feel about this seven minute monster. 'Igoyh' closes the EP in beautiful fashion, with Kwes really showcasing his incredible songwriting ability. It really floored us when we first heard it, but in reality the EP is exactly what he's been promising for some time now. Meantime EP is out 30th April via Warp Records [...]
