Maps has come out with some great new music. After taking a two year break they are back with tunes that are more then exceptional. (as usual) Check out their new song and video and be sure to catch the full visual, retro, futuristic, spacey eye candy by clicking the HQ button on the Youtube menu. " Let Go Of The Fear " comes with a really catchy vocal hook, backed with melodic dream synth and somehow melds the beats and [...]

Woohoo! Sometimes there's a track that when you hear it you end up just bouncing up and down and spilling your drink everywhere. Dance Area bring us that very track with "AA 24/73 a bouncy tune that you can easily fit into any type of set. It's nostalgic of the 90's with out being tongue in cheek or too tongue in cheek. It's terribly catchy and even has a section of side chained snares. The track was good enough that tastemaker dj boy wonder Erol Alkan put it out as his 4th release on his [...]
Diplo remixed this sick new electronic track from Dance Area, Boys Noize and Erol Alkin new DJ team. Check the original music video and download the remix after the jump. Download: Dance Area - AA 24/7 (Diplo Remix) [zshare.net]

Pidupidu. Kogu aeg. Dance Area Ft Austin Boston - AA/247 Ootamatult on kätte jõudnud laupäev. Palju õnne.
First up is a little videooo by L-Vis 1990, the latest track from Erol's Phantasy Sound Label. The tracks called AA 24/7 by Dance Area, it's fantastic. hmmmm. Here is a remix thats Kissy Sell Out is playing a loot. From an up and coming producer Kid Cola: Atomic Heels (Kid Cola Remix) (mp3) until next time.
I've kind of been neglecting my posting duties recently, which is a bit shit... I'd hoped to get back in the swing of things with an uber-lazy post of the decent things that landed in my inbox over the past few days. Sad times, though, when I found that I haven't really been sent anything recently (Meredith, come back, all is forgiven!), never mind something of that satisfies the greatness-conditions required to be written about here. As a consequence, I'm forced to write about things that I like that I've found for myself . Who thought [...]

Hallo hallo! Since nye is so close at hand I thought I'd post some heavy stuff to play once your party's in full swing. The UK duo Shadow Dancer , signed to Boys Noize Records, are not only prolific but pretty good too. I recently picked up their new unreleased remix of Shine Shine so here it is (plus a few other tracks that have been floating around my computer for awhile). Boys Noize - Shine Shine (Shadow Dancer Unreleased Mix) Me My Head - White Lights (Shadow Dancer Remix) [...]
Dance Area has a universally orgasmic video for Always, Anytime, 24/7 and it totally reminds me of the 90's era, when Eiffel 65 made the coolest looking videos.. check it out: This track might get in your head 24/7, so get your fix over by buying the track HERE

So it seems Erol Alkan has been a busy man this year, but especially so in these past few months. I might as well get the obvious spiel that he produced two of my favourite albums of 2008, released one of my tracks of the year in Fan Death's debut single Veronica's Veil and is still one of the best DJ's in the world out of the way, and fill non-obsessives in on what he's been up to. Firstly, there's Phantasy's latest release; Dance Area's club [...]

I felt inclined to post today, but I haven't seen too much that excites me relatively recently (we're talking in blog time, of course). Thus, we'll be backtracking to visit a few gems that are hardly ancient yet not quite new. The first of which is La Roux's "Fascination," a song that's both crunchy in its instrumentals and smooth in its vocals. Overall, the song has a wonderful unpolished quality that excites rather than deters. You can hear La Roux's new single, "Quicksand," in my latest mix and a remix of said track over [...]
Ну и так как я про Эрола давненько ничего не писал - вот этот трек он собирается выпустить на своем лейбле Phantasy в ближайшее время.
Thanks to Paul Devro over at Mad Decent .
