
Saturday, May 15, 2010 Robin Hood is a frustrating movie in so many ways. It is not only a cobbled together rehash of every other historical epic Ridley Scott has ever made, but it is also an abysmal re-telling of one of the great stories of all time. More so the film is perhaps the most prime of examples of the remake/rehash/prequel trend that is currently eating away at the foundations of Hollywood. Ridley og Russel sammen igjen! Jippi. Dette kan vanskelig bety annet enn innbitt vold fra de benhrde gamle, gamle, gamledager. Og ganske riktig: Akkurat som i Gladiator finner vi Russel Crowe i intens macho-modus i kamp p livet og i fremmed land. (Sveis og atmosfre p posteren ligner til og med). Men denne gang mister ikke helten sin familie; i Robin Hood fikser han seg faktisk en helt ny en!
