White Rabbits brought the rousing sound of "Percussion Gun" off of the Brooklyn band's album It's Frightening (out now) to The Late Show yesterday, with some more than pleasing results. Last night, Brooklyn based White Rabbits performed the opening track Percussion Gun from the 2009 album It's Frightening , on the Late Show with David Letterman. Their brilliance shined live directly right through the television screen, cleverly showcasing the six piece band's perfect blend. Driven by their use of heavy percussion hitting double drummers, gritty guitars played within the basslines smashing every single scattered piano keys that kept on pressing up towards the dual angst ridden vocals, riding deep inside each painful harmony.
Brooklyn sextet White Rabbits brought their crowd-pleasing post- Stomp indie rock to The Late Show last night via "Percussion Gun," the appropriately percussive opening track from their just-released, Britt Daniel-produced It's Frightening . But it's not frightening (try Mastodon instead). Letterman's excited about the "tremendously talented" Rabbits from the get go, and afterward the studio audience is all worked up too.
