De la star des DJs actuels à Kelis , il n'y a qu'un pas, puisque ce dernier a produit le nouveau single de la sulfureuse pin-up du electro/R&B, "Acapella" . Two versions of the same dance track, "They Say," surfaced this week, one recorded by house music aficionado Kelis and the other by Chris Brown. Kelis (who showed up to the Data Awards last night looking like something out of Fantasia ) was the first to record a demo of the song, but it ultimately ended up going to Brown as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Graffiti . A few days ago a bonus track from the Japanese edition of Graffiti entitled "They Say" leaked. Today, an unexpected demo of the very same song leaked with Kelis on vocal duties and Jean Baptiste on background... The songs are identical except for a few ad-libs from Brown's version and a few other elements here and there as it is a finished track. Although Brown's version is finished Kelis wins this battle as her voice is more suited for the type of song. Her vocal style just complements the production better than Brown's deeper pitch. [...]
