The video is comprised of clips from old films, with footage of Lana mixed in similar to the Video Games and Blue Jeans flicks released over the Summer. Carmen  was posted last night with a message saying  “Thank you to all of the beautiful filmmakers that helped make this video.”   Erik Satie 's gorgeous  Gymnopédie No.1 plays at the end of the film. We've been giving you guys a little bit of a break from Lana Del Rey , but yesterday she shared a video for "Carmen" from her debut album, Born To Die . It's a departure from the sumptuous Yoann Lemoine directed official clips for " Blue Jeans " and " Born To Die ," and a return to the grainy, soft footage of Lana's original home-made videos. The visually-stimulating images (pole dancers, behind-the-scenes with LDR, old film clips) paired with Del Rey's soft voice, which almost makes her sound vulnerable, makes this one well worth checking out.
