
Well, wouldn't you know it? Our major releases this week couldn't even wait until Tuesday. The most notorious of these releases came out yesterday, exclusive to iTunes and a certain blue painted big-box store. The others are due out today and tomorrow, although my Target decided to go ahead and sell them yesterday. I'm thinking this wasn't a planned release bump, since iTunes and Amazon were still showing them as not available yet. So kudos to the merchandiser at the 7 Corners Target who might be losing their job for filling out the new release endcap a couple of days [...]

Although not staunch fans of The Killers , we understand their impact. Now that the Obama craze is slowly fading away, humans can turn their attention back to Christmas and pop entertainment. On top of that, The Killers can finally get back to being the prime subject of water-cooler debate for the first time since "Mr. Brightside". Bringing the band slowly back from the recording kinks was " Human ", which released at the end of September. With it came all of the praise one could give a single. The Killers showed up on Live With Jools Holland, to do their grammatically incorrect song "Human." "Are we Human or are we dancer?" Where's the "s"? Oh well...we'll wave the 3rd grade education for more good music.

You have to hand it to Brandon Feathers: The man will not give up on those avian shoulder pads. He wore them in the Killers' Day & Age promo pics, " Human "'s dusty video, and they, along with that giant kosher "K," made the trip to the UK for the band's rendition of the song on Jools Holland. The performance? The band gets pretty into it. So much so, that one of Brandon's feathers gets ruffled ... or erect? Note the above screen grab and then move on:
