Alphabeat : altro piccolo ma significativo tormentone estivo con il singolo " Fascination ". Ci è stato segnalato da Schiacciato il video del loro più recente singolo (il terzo) lanciato al di fuori del loro paese d'origine, la Danimarca. Il titolo è "Boyfriend". Il loro album, "This is Alphabeat", ascoltato offre solo parzialmente e solo in alcune tracce quella passione anni '80 che si ritrova nella hit di cui sopra che sta girando molto bene anche in Italia. The latest release from Alphabeat   off their album "This Is Alphabeat" is a retro-style track called 'Boyfriend'   The video for the track is below and is well worth a look if Alphabeat   are your kinda thing:

Alphabeat is back with their new single Boyfriend . The song is amazing (that much is to be expected), and the video is amazing as well. Straight from their lips, the video is "an ode to all things eighties"; in the video, there's this great Attack of the Love-Letter-Mix-Tape sequence. It's just a fantastic video, and while the production cost of this video is quite obviously significantly higher than any of their others (could this mean Alphabeat is becoming hot shit?) they're still damn cute!!

I really, really hope that Danish wonky pop outfit Alphabeat keeps releasing summer jams for the Stacey Q-raised set every month until September. Obviously, this is not a complaint. I would love to know, however, just how many feet of magnetic tape were used in the climactic scene of this video, where Alphabeat singer Stine Bramsen unleashes the fury of the cassettes she's dedicated to the boy of her dreams. The Danes in Alphabeat were totally our heart w hen we last talked about them (funny enough, it was about a video) and now the sextet are just going ahead and officially sealing the deal. According to the band, "[t]he video is an ode to all things eighties: cassettes, ghetto blasters and leg warmers," and they couldn't be more right about that.
