Vice is promoting Snoop Lion's new video for his Major Lazer produced track " La La La , " calling it " mindblowingly amazing ." Seeing Snoop Dogg at Catalpa this past weekend was a lot of fun, but the importance of it has greatly grown, now that Calvin Broadus will be known as Snoop Lion . After taking an extensive trip to Jamaica, and being engulfed in their culture, the rapper felt it was the right time to convert his whole image. Sure this might seem idiotic to a lot of people and maybe just another side effect of his persistent weed use, but judging from the trailer of his upcoming VICE documentary, Reincarnated , I am more than a little intrigued.
