When I used to work as a clerk-gal/shelf-stocker/sweep- if-they-need-it person at Longs' Drug Store in San Jose, California, I remember that they used to play a lot of Duncan Sheik over the PA (along with Del Amitri and other feel-good soft-pop hits. Maybe "On The Wings Of Love" too). In fact, Sheik's 1996 song "Barely Breathing" was apparently the most-played radio song that year.
