Wildbirds & Peacedrums will support St. Vincent early next year on tour. They will also release the "My Heart" single on January 19, 2010 via The Control Group. "My Heart" is Wildbirds & Peacedrums' first ever US single release, and will be available as a digital EP and limited edition 7" single. Individually-numbered 7" single vinyl will include the album version of "My Heart", backed with a guitar-driven remix by Deerhoof. As well as these two versions, a digital-only EP includes a further three mixes with John Eriksson of Peter, Bjorn and John contributing as well as Portland, Oregon's AU. [...]

Banda que minha irmã Euforiquessa me mostrou e que já falamos sobre, algumas vezes aqui no bloguento. Acho que para moi é a melhor banda-duo-couple de 2009. Just gorgeous! Swedish husband & wife duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums have gone ahead and made a video for "My Heart," the album closer on their excellent sophomore album, The Snake. The clip, directed and animated by Swedish artist Sara Frisk, features a lot of pleasant, watercolor animation, including hearts that change colors, and one that might be a grenade, perhaps a kind of love grenade? The Snake is out now on the Leaf Label.

Weird, wonderful and unexpectedly deep for just a duo, Wildbirds & Peacedrums are unique band to say the least. The Swedish pair are now on their second LP together in the form of last years The Snake. Buried inside the record was this track here by the name of My Heart and now, it's been given a video.
