Jde o druhý singl z výborného alba Sweet Heart Sweet Life vydaného letos v dubnu. Režisér Vincent Haycock zachytil příběh mladé dívky na útěku z domova, která ujíždí na motorce svého táty. Hlavní roly dívky si zahrála kaskadérská špička Chesca Miles z Anglie. Video bylo nátáčeno v Německu nedaleko hranic s Polskem mezi skutečnými kaskadéry. Štáb se také potýkal s německou policií. The video for Spiritualized's "Little Girl" is nowhere near as long as the previous music video the band dropped, but that doesn't mean it's less cinematic. Actually, a lot like the video for "Hey Jane," the vid seems to focus in on one person who seems to live a turbulent life. They hang on the fringe, but have a good heart and conscious. Because sometimes The 4th of July is about stealing money from your parents and living out your dangerous moto-fantasy in the body of a girl. Spiritualized are on a tear of solid narrative videos this year. Heavy stuff.

Considering the fact that the video for Spiritualized's "Little Girl" involved "two crashes, a wrecked bike, a near-death tank rattle, 12 burnt out tires, a broken whipped cream charger, and a near arrest after police caught producers filming a high speed tracking shot on the autobahn into Berlin at 4am," you'd do well to make all that worthwhile by watching it. He stated that his departure "may come as a surprise to many" and that "my decision was not easy to make. I need to do this in order to progress."
