Burial and Massive Attack have come together on a soundscape that could only be the combination of two of the most influential artists in the world today. This doesn't happen too often. Yesterday, we got our first listen to Massive Attack and Burial 's 12" collaboration B-Side "Paradise Circus," a 12-minute ethereal urban harmonic glossed over through sheering vocals and distant rain. Les plus optimiste s'attendait peut être a un album de remix, mais finalement seulement deux titres se voient retoucher par le maitre du dubstep atmosphérique. Last week we told you about the upcoming 123 collaborative single between Massive Attack and Burial and let you stream the A-side "Four Walls." Yesterday, Massive Attack and Burial released their limited edition, two-song 12" single. On one side of the single is the 12-minute track "Four Walls," which, if you haven't heard it, you can listen to here , and, on the other side, is a reworking of Massive Attack's track "Paradise Circus." The track was originally released on Massive Attack's 2010 LP Heligoland , and you can here the entirety of the 12-minute rework below. A few days ago the mysterious Burial dropped off the first song of the long-anticipated Massive Attack collaboration with " Four Walls ". That mammoth tune is backed by this one, "Paradise Circus", on the B-side, which comes courtesy of Mary Anne Hobbs' stellar XFM show. Much like the previous single, "Paradise Circus" is slow and lurching, filled with the desolate sonics that the UK producer is known for. It's a slow burning 12 minute rework of the Hope Sandoval ( Mazzy Star ) fronted single Paradise Circus which originally appeared on  Heliogland . Last week, Massive Attack and Burial revealed the B-side to their limited 12" single, which features two tracks with a running time of 24 minutes total. Whereas that track, " 4 Walls ," was a brand-new recording from the two acts, the A-side is a reworking of "Paradise Circus" off Massive Attack's 2010 album, Heligoland .
