I recently started catching up on a ton of web videos that I missed in the last few months. Here are two you need to see if you haven’t already. OMFGICWFTTCO! These guys are the real deal. Thanks for the heads up Maestro . I finally took the time to watch the whole Kanye video. Pretty amazing. I love the cinematography.

Yesterday a friend showed me this. I intended to only watch about 5 or 10 minutes but ended up watching the whole thing. When I think of the name Kanye West its generally not followed by pleasantries. I don't like him. I've seen him live (regrettably) and he just.. doesn't convince me. His production values are good but quite often his raps just irk me. Alot of us here on the dancefloor will never forgive him for hacking Daft Punk to bits and seeing everyone stupidly think it was genius. Sigh. [...]

This music video is over 30 minutes long and that alone makes it something special. In the grand tradition of Michael Jackson (who's visually referenced in case you miss the connection), Kanye West is now the most meaningful pop star alive. Do yourself a favor, and make this full screen. When Kanye West makes a 30+ minute movie, you don't watch it in a tiny box. Hell, you try and hook it up to the TV if you can! The cinematography in "Runaway" is fantastic - vivid, stimulating, highly-stylized - but that's a no-brainer. Indulge your eyes and ears.
