'Velvet' is a fucking great song. Of all the bands currently trying to explore what electronic production and textures can add to a guitar based sound, The Big Pink are easily the best. I have to admit that I absolutely hated the sub-Kasabian lad rock of 'Dominoes' but 'Velvet' has more heart, atmosphere and melody than almost any song to emerge in the past 6 months.
